MOB WIVESSSS
So after the first episode, it ended at D'rita and Renee getting into a fight at the bar. They almost banged but Carla stopped it. They were on very weird terms sense then. I mostly missed that episode but got to see the third episode, in which Renee's ex-husband got arrested and her son AJ was devistated. The person who showed up to the house after Renee called her only two good friends D'rita and Carla, was Karen. It was very surprising, and they mended there friendship. Before the events between there fathers they were really good friends. But then Renee's father made her cut all ties with Karen so that's what she did. But then they mended their friendship and they're all good. But enough about Mob Wives. I've got two other things to say and then I am going to go to bed. ONE, why is every single teen based show about teenage pregnancy..? WHAT HAS THIS WORLD TURNED INTO?!?!? and TWO, the book Julius Caesar bored me. OK BYE:)

Soooo I'm just going to talk about Mob Wives again. So anywaysssssssssssssssss what happened was Renee hated Karen because of a lot of connections between there fathers, and Renee still thought that she was a daughter mobster. Karen went into "hiding" in Arizona and decided to move back to New Jersey to write a book. She moves back and the first person she calls to see is D'rita. Well D'rita married Karens ex-boyfriend of 7 years.. Anyways, it was Carlas birthday, and she had a party at this bar. Renee made D'rita and Carla swear that Karen wasn't going to come, but Carla invited her anyway. They were all taking their patron shots and having fun when Karen walks in. Renee basically freaks out and goes outside to smoke a cig and Karen goes and confronts her. They get in this big fight and the show ends, I'll let you know how next week goes!

These blogs are so boring. Well what do I want to talk about. Well I'm watching the premier of mob wives so maybe I'll talk about that. Soooooooooooooooooooo Mob Wives is basically about 4 Italian women who were the daughters of a gangster or the wife of one. There is Karen Gravano, Renee Graziano, Carla Facciolo, and D'rita Davanzo. Lol, I know all of these names because I'm Italian and yeah lets leave it at that hahahah. Anyways Karen is the daughter of Sammy "The Bull" Gravano and he went to jail because he ratted out a lot of mobsters and killed people. Renee's father was in the mob bust. Carla's husband got arrested for stock fraud in a mob and has two twin children. And D'rita has one child and her husband went to jail as well. I really like the show and actually 15 minutes is up so I'll continue this blog about this. Ok bye.

Introduction
Dear Reader,
Marked is the first book of many that represent one theme throughout the series. Darkness does not always equate to evil, just as light does not always bring good. Zoey Montgomery now finds this out during this book, but realizes its true meaning throughout the books. In this post, you will see how the theme is conveyed throughout the book through the genres that will be portrayed. In this summary, you will get an idea of how the theme is conveyed and it will give you a better understanding on why this is the main theme of the book(s).
Zoey was a small town girl living in Tulsa , Oklahoma
Zoey woke up in the infirmary of the House of Night to meet her grandma there and her new mentor and the High Priestess of the school, Neferet. After she changed her last name to Redbird, she went to meet her new roommate, Stevie Rae. After watching the whole event with Aphrodite (hag-from-hell, leader of the Dark Daughters and Sons, and High Priestess in training) and Erik, she was more than frightened at this point. She went downstairs to eat dinner and she met her new friends: Damien, Erin, and Shaunee. Things start to get weird when she sees dead fledglings that could not complete the Change, and Heath and Kayla coming to visit her at the House of Night. And when she gets invited to join the Dark Daughters and participate in their ritual by Aphrodite, she finds many surprises. Like at the Samhein Night (Halloween) ritual when they leave the House of Night and go to a gazebo, and Heath shows up just when Aphrodite calls the Dead Spirits. Zoey Redbird finds out that she has an affinity for all 5 elements: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, and Spirit. This has never happened in history, and she is pronounced the new leader of the Dark Daughters after she saves Heath and Erik from the dead spirits that Aphrodite released. Throughout the book, Zoey begins to realize this theme when she has to face the evil Aphrodite. In the upcoming books she also realizes that Aphrodite might not be a hag-from-hell, and Neferet might not the person who she puts herself out to be.
I chose this theme because it can be relevant to life and this fantasy novel. Nyx, the Goddess of Night personified presented this theme herself that is shown throughout the series of the House of Night.

The genres I chose represented the book and the theme very well. I learned that recognizing genres and their true meaning are more complex than what meets the eye. Genres have more to them than just describing the theme and the book. With genres, you have to think more deeply on what the real meaning is to it and how it fully connects to the theme itself. That was the part that was sort of difficult, was making my project more complex that I thought it would be. I liked that I got to choose any novel that I wanted to and to talk about it in deep sense, because it truly is a good book and it has a great theme to it. Each genre type that I chose reflected my book and theme very well. The photograph with captions goes with this well because it shows evil vs. good, which is what the whole series including this book is about. The haiku goes well with this well because it was actually said by a character in the book and it foreshadows the theme. The prayer goes well with this because it was also in the book and it again shows the theme well. And the internal monologue is also in the book, which again shows the theme. This book shows a good theme that can be used in fantasy novels and sometimes real life.

Last Post
So this is my last post until the one I have to do for that project. Like usual, I don't know what to ever talk about. Sooo we did this OGT practice thing. That was uh fun. Not really. But seriously, it was really not fun at all. I'm reading this book though called Marked for my project and I'll probably finish it by next week because I absolutely love it. This book has I think like 5 other books, so next week I'll start the next one called Betrayed. Ummm so I'm really excited for Spring Break because I truly hate school. I have almost all A's but some of my grades aren't added in so I have like 3 C's, but those will be A's.. Hopefully. Spanish is just the hardest for me though. I'm in Spanish 3, and it's just so pointless. Seriously, but atleast I don't have to take another language! Yayayayayay so happy. But last quarter I got a freaking c:((((((( I've neva gotten a C, well maybe in like Elementary school but thats it! :lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll||||||||||||||||||||||||:|||||||||||||| see that stale face<<<<<<<<< yeah I was pretty.. mad. Hahaha, but I'm in IT.. And really bored. I think I've said this in my blog before but I just finish everything before everyone else and then I'm reaaal bored. Well sense I paused like 45089 times cause I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TALK ABOUT.. I'm gonna go now. Bye..:)

Story Blog
I've had an interesting life to be honest. I live with my uncle Lee in Tulsa. I mean, I used to live with my dad in Durango, and my mom has not been in my life for a couple of years, nor do I want her in there either. Lee is really cool, and kind of acts like a brother to me I guess you can say. My life has gone downhill since my dad died in a car crash, caused by my mom and her being an alcoholic. Now you can see why I have no contact with my mom anymore... and I refuse to visit her in jail either. My uncle Lee and I get along really well, but not certainly in the right ways. My friends and I have a lot of fun together, like me and my uncle do. We don't hang out with the cheerleaders, or the jocks. My friends are really, and not fake like everyone else in my school, so we do our own, reckless things. I feel alone in this world. I mean, look at my life now at the age of 16. But besides the fact that my life is a train wreck, I go to school everyday, well most of the time, and am a normal teenager. But normal experiences don't really happen to me. This experience wasn't normal. This certain experience changed my life.. Forever.My friends and I were int he woods on a Friday night. We were just roaming, going on adventures. Adventures in the woods at 12:30? Reckless. To be honest, I don't know why we were in the woods, but Dylan insisted we go. It was dark, and no one could see. Suddenly, I heard a scream, and then the next thing I knew I was in a knew whole world. I woke up on the clouds, floating in the sky. I sit up, and my head was pounding with pain. I had very blurred vision, but as soon as it cleared up, everything was white, and I wasn't on a cloud anymore. I was in one of those neverending white rooms. For a moment, I seriously thought I was dead heading to the light, until I started running. It felt like forever, until I suddenly started falling. Through the clouds and onto something that caught me.. A mushroom.. A living mushroom? I didn't know what was happening, and almost cried until I noticed that it wasn't possible to cry. I legitimately couldn't.. But those thoughts weren't in my anymore once the mushroom started walking with me on top of it to this ginormous tree. With all of this fear, to top it off, I had no idea where my friends were. Great. I was just in the woods, blacked out, woke up on clouds in the sky, ran through a never ending white room, and now I'm on a living mushroom walking towards a tree of life with my friends nowhere in site.. ? I'm trippin', seriously. And then everything turned black.. Again?
"You are the chosen one Sam". I open my eyes to mushroom people (huh?) surrounding me. I stand up and notice now that I'm in this tree with millions of mushroom kind of people all with their eyes on me. And when I look down in complete embarrassment, my friends are lying on the ground.. Dead. I begin to cry, but not tears are coming out. I had no time to worry about that because I mean, I'm surrounded by millions of mushroom people so.. I know this isn't even sounding possible, but it was happening right before my own eyes. "Sam, you have a choice. You can either become the King of our world and turn into one of US and be in this magical mushroom world where anything goes in your favor.. OR you can go back to Earth with your friends. The only thing is, no one will remember you. Your choice." I was apalled, furious, RAGING! I can't stay in this world and turn into a mushroom. NO, NO, NO, NO! I had to go home! I had to lie. "Yes, I will become your king, but on one condition. You let me go through this world by myself, you know to check it out." "As you wish." And I was out.
Running as fast as I could, I needed to find a way out of this world. But how did I even get in here? I kept running, waiting for something to.. Black out... Again. Oh wait, it was a dream.

Blog from my Colorado break:)
So I went to Colorado and didn't do this blog so I'm doing it now! Uhhhh so I like English. Anyways so I'll just talk about my trip! So I woke up at like 9 in the morning on Friday and left for the airport and left Ohio at 11:30. We had a layover so we stopped at Chicago and then left again. I got to Colorado around 3 o clock there time I think but Ohio time it was like 5 o clock. Anyways my step aunt and her husband and their dog RIVA picked me and my stepdad up and we headed straight to the mountains! I think that the mountains are one of the most beautiful creations ever made. The mountains feel like home to me, so when I drive through them and I am surrounded by them I feel like I'm home. Anyways while we were driving we stopped for some pizza and it was good. It was in this little town so I've never heard of the place. But we got to Vail at like 7 or 8 and went straight to dinner in Vail Village. The restaurants there are so expensive but they are so beautiful and so we ate there and went back home and I passed out. The next day I snowboarded all day and had a blast. I didn't end up going on the snow shoe trip that they planned for us because I was so exhausted.. But my stepdad did and I stayed back in our condo. Our condo was so beautiful because I had the same view basically as I did last year when I came there for spring break. Anyways, Sunday we again snowboarded all day and then headed back to Denver to stay at my aunts for the night. Then on Monday I went to a college visit at the University of Colorado at Boulder.. The college that I'm going to and it was amazing. We explored pearl street which is of the most notorious shopping strips in the U.S. Then I came home on Tuesday!

Early Blog
Sooooo I'm gonna do this blog early because I need to get it done. In less than 3 days I'm leaving to go to Vail, Colorado. It's just going to be me and my stepdad, and were going to meet up with my step aunt Tara and her husband. She's probably the coolest aunt you could ever have haha. But we fly out Friday at 11 AM, and I think it is like a 3 or 4 hour flight so I'll get there later and then we have to drive all the way through the mountains to Vail which is like a 5 hour drive. But were meeting my aunt there so she can drive us I think. Then once we get there if we want we will probably go snowboarding, well me atleast and my stepdad will go skiing but yeah. Then I get to snowboard all day for the whole day Saturday and Sunday. Then on Monday were driving down to Boulder to go on a college tour for the University of Colorado at Boulder from like 8 to 2 I think. Then on Tuesday I'm coming back.. Ew:( Well I mean I'll miss my fam and my boyfriend but it's cool. Atleast I get to go out the the place where my heart is<3 heheeeee, well let me include a little bit of English in here. Uhhhhh well yesterday we started watching this movie called War Games, and I've seen it before. It's actually a good movie, so I'm happy we don't have to read like Mr. Potter makes us do all the time. Lol I don't mind it actually. But this is long enough so I think I'm gonna go, BYE!

The moon
Alright so this week we traveled into space. It was pretty intense. Lolz just playin. But seriously, anyways I walk into the classroom and Justin and Sam are like WE GOT NEMO because I guess thats what they call me I forget why but you know thats what they want to do. But yeah anyways so I went into their group and then we had to get rid of somebody so I personally thought that the best idea was to hold a number behind my back and see who guesses the close. I chose 4 and they both chose 2 and 6.. I was like well that didn't work out. So Mr. Potter made Justin go to the other group. Then I was the person who checked over everything to see if it was right. We had to get a 20 or below to have survived getting to the moon or wherever we went. We got a 36.. So did another group, but the lowest was that group that named themselves after the water bottle or whatnot.. They got a 30, so I mean everybody died:( But the nastiest thing was when Shane just sneezed allllll over Alexis.. I was like dude that is the nastiest thing ever. Lol, idk but this week went by really slow, and I'm just so happy that it's the weekend! And that next weekend I'm going to Colorado!:D

Blogggg
My blogs just don't post:( I mean hopefully it will post this time, because if not I'm going to be realllll mad haha. But my week has been really boring. And I can't really think of what we did 2 weeks ago because my blog didn't post, so I guess I'll talk a little bit about this week. Well I went out into the hall to read that one story that we read about cyrion or whatever and how he slayed that dragon and killed the prince and that woman. I got the story but I didn't fully understand why he chopped their head off, until Mr. Potter told me. But I was out in the hall with everyone and could not concentrate with them there so I moved to where the theatre classes are or whatever and Mrs. Montage or whatever her name is just rolled up and they got in trouble and went back inside. I was laughing, lol. But in like 10 days I think I'm going to Colorado to snowboard and I'm so excited. You guys who read this have no idea. I get to go down and tour this college that I'm really trying to get accepted to. It's called the University of Colorado at Boulder. It's so beautiful, and I'm just so excitted. You can probably tell but still. Well I think I'm done with this blog sooo uhh bye

Sooooo I'm sitting in IT just chillin'. Everyone is still doing this typing activity where you do like 20 lessons and half of these people are on like 5 and we've been doing it for almost two weeks.. besides the snow days. But anyways I don't know I'm just done and I missed two days. But I'm fast at typing SO IT'S COOL AN ALL. Don't I just have the best grammar Mr. Potter? I don't have anything to talk about like usual. But it's cool, I'll figure out something to say. Sooooo that video in English was pretty interesting you know? The dude talking Spanish or German or French in some of the lyrics was uh.. amusing. Hahaha, idk I included English in here so I don't really have to talk about it but I will anyways. Lol, I doubt this blog makes any sense right now, but I'm just typing random things because I want to get this done. I've only got like 5 minutes left anyways so it's cool. ALRIGHT ITS COOLx28794038. Idk what I'm sayin', but anyways, we learned how to do colons, semi-colons, and commas correctly in sentences this week. I was very bored listening to him, so I kind of just zoned out. Speaking of zone, I'm listening to Zone 6, HOW IRONIC. Alright I need to stop rambling on, I just can't concentrate on this. But idk, I got a 33 out of 36 on that test we had on all of those commas and etc. plus 8 points which gives meeeee a 41 out of 36. yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee was good well I'm done now soooo have fun reading this pointless blog hahaha LATTTA

Extra Credit Blog Number 2
Alright, to continue with my other blog.. Then his wife went on stage and the dude looked into her eyes and knew it was her, but she didn't necessarily know it was him. Then he put this maroon cloak on her and put her in front of this mirror and I think she disappeared and she came back, I'm not for sure I kind of forget it's been a while. But then they went to this little party afterwards and then he said something to the Prince or King as he was leaving that triggered the "wifes" mind and she knew it was him. Again she started sneaking around with him and she finally got caught and bad things happened. Well number one she was gone for the night at the dudes crib having sex with him like you are so dumb.. hopefully I don't get in trouble for saying that but I don't know. Anyways one night the "wife" was in the room and didn't want to marry the Prince or King and wanted to be with the other dude so she told the Prince or whatever and he was drunk so he got really mad. Then he slapped the.. out of her and she ran out to get on her horse and ride away. Then the Prince or whatever stabbed her and you see her riding on the horse dead and the dude walk back into the building. The searches didn't know it was the Prince or whatever but thought it was the other dude. They were searching for her and the magician found her in a pond and jumped in and started crying or whatever. Then he kept doing shows and was miserable and what not and then almost got arrested but then got out and that's where it left off on Thursday!:( But this is perfect timing because I'm done and I have one more 15 minute blog to do soooooooooooo alright:)

Where did I leave off.. I think I was talking about the necklace the dude made for this girl. Anyways, so that happens and then it skips like 10,20,30 years I don't know I forget. But it showed him all grown up and he was doing magic shows which is how I think he got his money. The police officer was always at the shows seeing on how he did these tricks, because he thought he was a fraud. In one of the shows, he had a pot with nothing in it and put his hand over the pot and just magically grew this orange plant and let one of the audience people see it and eat it. It was crazy haha even though this movie is fake still, it was crazy. And he did another trick, I don't know if it was in the same show or not, but it was like he took this handkerchief from this lady and gave her an empty box and then at the end of the show she opened the box and her handkerchief was in it. Actually I'm not sure if it was her handkerchief or another person's handkerchief but either way it was a handkerchief, haha. But then the King or the Prince or whatever came to one of his shows and his "wife", technically they weren't married but they were about to be. This happened to be the girl who was in the beginning of the movie and basically his "love". Anyways, he asked for a volunteer and no one answered but then the King or Prince whatever he was did and offered his "wife". Hold on it's been 15 minutes again I have to post it and continue on another one.

Alright this is my last blog that I have to do and I'm so happy. But let's see.. I was sick two of these days this week, Wednesday and Thursday and we didn't do that much but read I think. We listened to this radio horror thing and the screen was soooooooooooooooo trippy. Hahahah but seriously it was. Anyways, it was called something with A Country Road I don't know I forget, but anyways it was about this couple who were driving and this mental woman was on the loose and escaped this mental hospital and yeah was on the loose. They were talking about it on the radio and they decided to take a short cut or whatever and went on this country road where there were woods and what not. They ran out of gas ofcourse on the country road and it was storming outside and they were really scared. They were sitting in the car when this old lady is pounding on the window and demanding that they let her in. The wife thought she was the murderer but the husband still let her into the car. And then she was acting like the crazy mental woman and demanding weapons so she can go out there and find help and she was basically going crazy so the man like went to the back seat and almost killed her. Then help got over there and they said they captured the mental woman but the help or whatever said they caught her 30 minutes ago, so he basically almost killed the woman who wasn't crazy, but basically was. Hahaha but I've got like a minute left so I'm gonna talk about how I got my temps and today was my frist day actually driving out on the road and what not and no exaggeration.. I am such a good driver on some real .... hahah but yeah alright imma go now byyyyyyyyyyyyye
Blog from before break
I didn't know we had to do a blog cause I left school Friday, so I'm doing them now.. Let's see, I think before break we watched this movie called the Illusionist or something like that. It was a really good movie. But I didn't get to see the ending because I wasn't there Friday.. :( Oh welllllll, but the movie was about a poor boy who saw this man do magic and then I guess he became magical you could say.. lol. But then he met this girl who was rich and was part of the royal family and who loved her. But her royal family didn't accept the fact that she was sneaking around them to hang out with this boy. They hid in this little cabin thing that he had in the woods and he would always do magic to her and she would be like woah.. hahah but seriously she really was. Anyways, they wanted to be together forever and blahblah blah and then the police or whatever who were looking for this girl found where they were one day. They took her away from him but before that happened he made her this necklace that had a picture of him I think and made it a heart and a like oval or something? I don't know it did some where thing where it change from an oval shape or whatever to a heart. Well it's been 15 minutes so the next two blogs that are extra credit will be about this movie:)
